Those of you watching some late night ESPN probably caught some of the NFL combine skills competition, which featured a handful of NFL prospects getting tuned up for the upcoming draft. If you did, you got to see a fairly humorous moment, as Notre Dame running back Darius Walker was chatting with the camera crew in the lobby of the hotel while waiting to meet up with a few other prospects to go out to dinner. His quote, roughly paraphrased:
It is 7:40 and we were supposed to leave at 7:30. There are only a couple of guys down here. This wouldn't fly where I come from. Coach Weis would kill everybody. And I mean kill everybody.
Just a humorous little quote showing the tight ship that Weis runs.

Coach Weis is never late to a meal and do not keep him waiting for one. That is a tight ship they are running at ND.

"And I mean kill everybody" why not.... he almost killed himself by consenting to stomach surgery.

Hey Bill,
I am not making fun of the fat guy...just questioning his decisions...he is obviously a smart man( just read some of the ND blogs and they are convinced he is) I think surgery was a bad decision just as playing LSU was a bad decision... except for the MONEY !

Oh, Forrest, do we have to explain something yo you? College football coaches do not get to choose who they play in bowl games. Hope that clears things up for you.
Oh, and you most definitely were making fun of Coach Weis for being fat. Apparently you need someone to explain that to you too.

Hey Bob,
Thanks for the "holier than thou" explanation typical of a Notre Dame fan. Hope this clears things up for you. Notre Dame would have lost to any of the BCS eligible teams. Count the money and maybe that will explain the nine consecutive Bowl losses.
